Worship and Community

Join us for Sunday Service

Join us for Sunday Service

St Barnabas has been a place of Christian worship for over 125 years and our faith continues to be at the very heart of all we do. Join us in worship and fellowship as we grow in our faith and serve our community every Sunday morning. When you arrive you'll be greeted by a member of our Welcome Team. If you are joining us for the Sunday Eucharist, please sit wherever you like in one of our wooden pews. Our service starts at 9:00am and lasts approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.

We look forward to meeting you!

Going Beyond

The 'Going Beyond' series of midweek meetings will resume on Wednesday May 14 from 7-9pm in the St Barnabas hall. Please join us for an evening of exploration and discussion on topical issues.

The topic for the evening is 'Friendship in an Era of Digital Loneliness and Alienation'. A recent statistic shows that 1 in 5 men in the US (and beyond) do not have a single friend and there is a propensity for young people, especially young men, to spend disproportionate amounts of time alone in their rooms. Clinical and social psychologists advise that the effects of this can be harmful and this loneliness contagion is distressing. We explore what may account  for this situation, and how we as Christians and the church at large, may respond to ameliorate the ill effects thereof.

The evening features a fascinating interview between Trevor Noah and Simon Sinek on the above topic.

Please join us and for further enquiries contact Gavin at gavinlouch@gmail.com or call 0820697477.
